Contest Rules and Points System.

The Rules

Basic Rules

• Contests can be created at any time until the end of a particular game.
• Questions are auto — generated by our system and sent to the participants during the duration of a live match.
• Challengers have a grand total of 90 seconds to submit a response to the particular prediction question.

The points are processed in real time and are awarded based on the points system below.

Game Play Points

Correct Answer

• A minimum of 50 points & a max of 95 points are awarded to a player based on the time taken to answer a particular question.
• The faster you answer, the higher you score!

Incorrect Answer

• A maximum penalty of 50 points are deducted on an incorrect answer.

Skip Question

• Points are deducted in multiples of 5 for skipping questions.

Bonus Points

Bonus points are awarded to a player who gets a minimum of 3 correct answers in a row is awarded “Streak Bonuses”.

Bonuses are awarded to the players as specified below:

• 25 bonus points are awarded for 3 correct answers in a row
• 50 bonus points are awarded for 5 correct answers in a row
• 75 bonus points are awarded for 7 correct answers in a row

The player with the highest points at the end of a particular game would be declared as a contest winner with his payout in MACHAAO Credits added to his MACHAAO wallet.
